Battery Charger Control

A VaCom Battery Charger Control System includes an i.LON100 Internet Server and LonWorks control modules, in one or more power control panels, with contactors for control of electric battery chargers.  Typical applications are battery operated fork trucks in distribution warehouses and electric golf carts. 

The system provides schedule control to eliminate or minimize on-peak demand and energy use for facilities with time-of-use electric rates.  Up to four zones of control are available, with individual time schedules and overrides.  The i.LON100 includes web pages for user interface, allowing monitoring, schedule changes and overrides to be accomplished using a web browser on a local PC, or via a dial up modem connection.
